Elimination rounds
One night. Every parish band in Mumbai.
Bandemonium is the All Mumbai Inter-Parish Band Contest, presented by The Catholic Gymkhana. It is open to parishes across the Archdiocese of Mumbai, and a parish can send more than one band.
Play English, play Hindi, mash them up. You get fifteen minutes on a professionally run stage in front of a live crowd on the CG Lawns, and the best band and best individual musicians take home cash prizes.
We provide
A drum kit on stage, professional sound and stage equipment, and an experienced sound engineer at the mix.
You bring
All other instruments. Every band brings its own gear apart from the drum kit.

Register by 25 October
Submit the form below, along with each member’s Baptism Certificate and Aadhaar Card. Entry fee is ₹1,000 per band.
Eliminations
Rounds held at The Catholic Gymkhana on 7, 14 and 21 November for bands that need them, with prior intimation.
Contest night
Saturday 28 November, 6:00 PM on the CG Lawns. Five minutes to set up, fifteen to play.
Rules
Please read all eight before you register.
- Open to all parishes within the Archdiocese of Mumbai. Multiple entries per parish are permitted. At least 50% of each band’s members must belong to the parish they represent. All participants must mandatorily provide a copy of their Baptism Certificate and Aadhaar Card for verification.
- Each band must have a minimum of 4 and maximum of 8 members.
- All band members must be 16 years or above.
- Bands may perform English and/or Hindi music, mashups allowed, but the majority of the repertoire must be in English. Profanity and controversial or inappropriate lyrics are not permitted.
- Each band will have 5 minutes for setup and 15 minutes for its performance. A drum kit will be provided on stage; all other instruments must be brought by the participating band.
- Professional sound and stage equipment will be provided, with an experienced sound engineer at the mix.
- Entry fee per band is Rs. 1000/-. Last date to receive entries is 25th October 2026.
- In case of too many entries, eliminations will be held at Catholic Gymkhana with prior intimation.
Register your band.
One form per band. If your parish is sending more than one band, submit the form once for each.
Keep handy: your band name, a contact person, how many of your members belong to the parish, and have each member’s Baptism Certificate and Aadhaar Card ready to send across. Entries close 25 October 2026.
